Two-Floor, Three-Bed Condo in Southie for $449K $419K

In the last six months, South Boston condos have been selling for about $320/square foot.  This bi-level, 1,841-square-footer is going for $243/ft². As you can imagine, a deal like that doesn’t need to be blogged to get noticed.

Such a combination of space, style, and location is rare, especially considering the low price. The problem is, buyers already know that. Which is why interest in this unit – only on the market for a week now – is through the roof.

Just yesterday, a delivery man walked past the front door of the building, peeked in, and marveled, “Wow, that’s a big place.”

It’s hard to believe this apartment is still available.  For one, these summer months always bring out the renters – it’s simply the busiest time of year for local communities.  Second, the price alone is competitive for a luxury two-bed in the area.  With so many people looking for apartments, similar one-bedrooms in Quincy are going for $1,600/month.  Finally, there just aren’t many units like it, unless you want to touch the $2,000s for monthly rent.
